Your care team

IV Therapy Safety and Medical Care

Is IV therapy safe?

Every IV is prescribed by a licensed provider and overseen by our Medical Director, Dr. Chris Khatri, MD. Before treatment, we review your health history to make sure IV therapy is a good fit for you, and we use sterile, single use supplies at every visit. If this IV therapy FAQ does not cover your safety question, call or text us and a provider will answer.

Who administers the treatment?

Every patient is evaluated by a licensed provider, either a nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or physician. A registered nurse or paramedic then administers the treatment.

How do you keep at home visits safe?

Safety protocols are the same at every visit. Your clinician arrives with sterile, single use supplies, and every treatment is prescribed and overseen by a licensed provider.

Do you treat patients under 18?

Yes. Patients under 18 can be treated when a parent or guardian is present and provides consent. If you have questions about a specific treatment for your child, call or text us at (682) 345-7155 and our team will help.

Iron Infusions

Do I need a referral to get an iron infusion?

No referral is required. Our medical providers can evaluate you directly through a brief telehealth visit, review your lab work, and prescribe treatment if appropriate. If your doctor has already recommended an iron infusion, we accept referrals as well.

How quickly can iron treatment begin?

In most cases, you can begin treatment the same day we receive and review your lab work.

Do I need lab work before an iron infusion?

If you already have labs from the last 30 days showing a CBC, ferritin, serum iron, and TIBC, additional lab work may not be required. Otherwise, we offer an affordable $35 iron panel at any Labcorp location, with results typically back within 24 hours.

Treatments

NAD+ Therapy

What does NAD+ IV therapy do?

How often should I get NAD+ IV therapy?

Many people begin with 1 to 2 NAD+ IV therapy sessions per week for several weeks as part of a loading phase. After that, most shift to maintenance sessions every 4 to 6 weeks depending on their goals and overall wellness needs.
